SDSU Faculty and Students Present Research at CSU Math Conference

Eight San Diego State University faculty and graduate students presented at the second annual CSU Mathematical Sciences Research Conference hosted November 10-11, 2023 at CSU Bakersfield. The conference brought together faculty and students in mathematics, statistics, and mathematics education from across the 23 CSU campuses to showcase their research. In addition to the CSU presentations, keynote talks were given by prominent researchers from a wide range of major topics of current interest.

Presenters from SDSU included Mathematics professors Jérôme Gilles and Christopher O'Neill, Mathematics Education professor Mary Pilgrim, MSED doctoral students Ernesto Daniel Calleros and Colin McGrane, and MATS students Gerardo Cruz, Nicholas Jacome, and Jaime Santos. For some students, this was their first academic conference.
