Minor in Mathematics
Minor (20-21 units)
The minor in mathematics requires 20-21 units in mathematics to include Math 150, Math 151, and a minimum of 12 units selected from Math 237, 245, 252, 254, or any upper division mathematics courses. No more than 6 units from Math 237, 245, 252, and 254.
The courses selected will be subject to the approval of the minor adviser.
Other requirements
Counting towards the major: Courses in the minor may not be counted toward the major, but may be used to satisfy preparation for the major and general education requirements, if applicable.
Residence: A minimum of six upper division units must be completed in residence at San Diego State University.
